Description Diamond Oil Kaleidoscope in Two-Tone Wood This unique kaleidoscope is made by the reknowned Parman Brothers, Ltd., famous for their superior handmade wooden high quality kaleidoscopes. It is made of hand cut maple with inlaid walnut on two opposite sides. Along each of the four sides, diamond shaped cut-outs show the mirrors in the tube section and are the openings for light in the object end. The edges are rounded off, making the scope feel good to handle. In the object case, metallic spirals and colorful jewels make wonderful patterns, the objects fall through the oil in dreamy kaleidoscopic fashion. This scope is side-lit, the end is covered to give the view a dark background. It is new, in perfect condition with no scratches or marks. The scope is meant to be displayed laying on one edge and comes with a matching two-tone stand. The mirrors inside the scope are excellent quality making the patterns very crisp and clear. DIMENSIONS: The overall measurements are 8.5" in length and 3.25" tall on the stand. The scope tube measures 2.25" across.
